Seattle Dealer Anticipates Carrying Alfa Romeo Cars in 2011

Alfa Romeo will soon be announcing the selected Chrysler dealers that will be awarded the opportunity to car the cars in 2011. Rairdon Auto Group, representing 6 dealer locations in Washington, is anticipating that they will soon become a Seattle Alfa Romeo dealer.

200 Chrysler dealers will become Fiat-branded and will also sell Alfa Romeo vehicles. Company CEO Sergio Marchionne has already announced that the first Alfa to hit North American shores will be the Giulia sedan and wagon, followed at some point by a midsize SUV, a subcompact, a hatchback and even a roadster.

When the selected Alfa Romeo dealers are announced, the company will begin sending ‘marketing cars’ to the awarded dealerships. The marketing cars will be used to facilitate pre-orders of vehicles.

Alfa Romeo is 100 years old, having been established in 1910. At the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August, the automaker received a warm welcome, with many of their most significant models on hand for the festivities. Those 24 cars represented just a small sample of the sports and racing cars that made the company famous – everything from one of their first 1910 A.L.F.A. 24-hp Torpedo model, to the bio-mechanical 2010 Alfa Romeo Pandion Bertone Coupé.
